Good news in one way as people won't have to deal with the chit-chat and can actually watch the field events. But I don't have Eurosport. Is it possible to get it on your phone does anyone know?

You can subscribe to Eurosport Player and you can watch on the app or laptop/desktop then. A lot of people do it for the grand tours in cycling.

    €6.99 a month, http://www.eurosportplayer.co.uk/subscription.shtml

Android I use time4tv with Dolphin web browser as you can install flash with it and watch online streams.

I have it on my phone via horizon, ie upc app.

But eurosport does have a phone app also.

Maybe we should organise a meetup in the woolshed for it some friday

But how are we supposed to know when Bolt and Mo are on with a Bolt-down or a Mo-down??!
I actually enjoy the BBC coverage of the races, big fan of Steve Cram commentating, just a shame about all the "analysis". Eurosport is OK but the constant ads are very annoying. Might be a record and watch later job.

Yea I used to like Cram and the BBC coverage but got fed up of him/them speculating on certain nationalities re doping but completely ignoring the massive elephant in the room when it comes British and Jamaican athletics

For the DL it's the same commentary. I used to watch DL in Australia on Eurosport, and it was always cram and Hutchins. Exact same as what you get on BBC for non UK DL events, but without the chit-chat.
