Hiya! I've just bought a new gas cooker. The shop were I bought were gonna charge me €130 to install the gas cooker, but that seemed a bit expensive to me. Although, I'm not sure what it should cost?

I've just moved into a new house, there's already a metal pipe behind were the cooker goes. The builder said the pipe is the gas supply for the cooker. Apparently, I need some sort of tubes to connect the cooker to the gas supply.

Has anyone any idea what it's likely to cost to install the gas cooker? Is €130 expensive? Or does it sound right? What does the installation normally cost? I live in Finglas, Dublin11. Can anyone recommend someone from around my area who could give me a quote?

    Thank-you! :)

No, what you need is a registered gas installer, someone who is listed on this website ......

Hover the mouse over the 'Support' tab on the right on this website, then select 'Find a gas installer'.....
