So the proposed new route for the Galway city bypass was officially revealed by planners today. 41 homes are in line for demolition to make way for the new N6. 10 more homes are being 'severely impacted'. The road will also go through a GAA pitch and the planned multi-surface pitch in Dangan.…

Haven't they been planning this for ~20 years?
If it's finished by 2020, I'll eat my hat, as the man says...

I see Bushypark primary school will be right beside the sliproads off the main route - used to be a nice area..
