help with dimmer swich

    That dimmer switch uses a 12-24 volt DC input. If this is a normal mains light it will be 240V AC meaning if you connected that it would blow the $hit out of it.

    I don't like saying this but if in doubt get a sparky. Not worth burning your house down over a few euro. If you still insist on doing this yourself, go to your electrical wholesalers with the LED bulb and explain your plan. I wouldn't buy leccy stuff online. Too much dodgy stuff about.
