I have a 2005 seat Córdoba sport 1.4 TDI when it is running idle and I put my foot on the clutch and take it off again it makes a very strange noise and stops once I put my foot on the clutch again? Any mechanics have any idea what this is??

Could be the release bearing in the gearbox.

When you say ' put my foot on the clutch ' do you mean
    1) light pressure stops noise - could be release bearing or
    2) pedal to the floor stops noise - could be a bearing in the gearbox .

release bearing is what it sounds like, even if the clutch was changed most kits dont come with a new release bearing so a new one might not have been fitted. get onto whoever fit it for you and ask them
