    Hi deelite,

    Thank you for your message.

The meter should stop taking the 25% automatically once your arrears has been fully cleared. Have you just received a statement or are you looking at the balance on the account? You should go by the statement rather than the balance on the account as the online billing system would not have your up to date meter reading on file, so the credit you are reading will only reflect the usage up to your last bill. For that reason, we would usually recommend that our Pay As You Go customers cancel their online billing account as it can lead to confusion as as it will not be up to date unlike your actual meter. If you wish to find out more about your balance and see if you are owed anything, you can call our colleagues in the Pay As You Go team on 1850 305 095. Their phone lines are open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, we don't have access to the Pay As You Go system here on Boards and we would be unable to check this for you.

If you have any other queries, do let us know.

    Regards,
    Aoife
