deed of separation or wait for divorce

Hi all

Just weighing up weather to go ahead and finalise a separation agreement we drew up in family mediation or financially would it be better to hang on two more years approx for divorce.
House sold and everything split we share kids equally so no maintenance sought by either of us.
We don't engage but kept it fair for sake of kids
There was a third party involved so I'm still angry and bitter so would love to draw a line under it legally but would be worried about costs.
My feelings are why pay twice for same end result but would I be taking a chance ex could decide go back on current unsigned agreement.

Unsure what to do any comments appreciated

Costs could actually be reduced with a DoS.. The deed won't cost much if there's agreement between you both and unless there's a huge fallout in the next two years the divorce will be an inexpensive rubberstamping excercise because of it.
