Getting (classic) or windows 7 look with 8.1

Just got a company laptop with 8.1 on it.

Want to got back to the classic or Win 7 look but it seems I have to down load an app.
Any suggestions please [ I have full rights on the laptop.]

Also how do you input wifi password in 8.i

It lists my home, password protected, wifi connections but don't see where the password can be connected.

The Win7 desktop option (by default) is just a properties option on the home button on the desktop, no big deal

As regards the wifi password - surely it prompts you when you try to connect... You have tried to connect..?

1: not a big deal when you know about it!
2: the prompt didn't show up when I was not connected with LAN.
It does now, I have downloaded a simple Win 7 look alike
