Replacing a 500

I've a 500 that has an intermittent fault which I'd like to trade in. I've been upfront with one dealership who pretty much said don't worry about it. I don't want to sell the car privately and dump it on someone else's lap tbh.

Anyway I reckon with trade in I've got about 11K to play with. I was thinking about a nearly new Picanto but would like something with a but more personality ideally.

Almost all city driving but when we do a run it's to Cork from Dublin so the ability to do the odd motorway trip would be nice.

    Bluetooth would be nice.

Built in Sat Nav nice but have a clippy one.

Cheap to run and insure. With a few years on the warranty - hence the Picanto.

Any other ideas? Almost tempted to try again with a newer 500. I actually really like the one I have but it's got that feeling it could go at any point about it now :(

    Many Thanks!

Actually love the look, at first glance of the DS3! 11-12K though is my budget :(

Ah, I thought the 11k-12k was on top of the trade-in value of the 500.

I'd personally stay away from the Picanto. My mother has one and it is not much more than a tin can! So lightweight, rattles constantly and very easily dented. Just my 2 cents!

I'd look at the DS3 anyway. Possibly a mini One or First could be in budget?

My mate got the small KIA 1liter 3 cylinder thing sequnto or some such name I forget
He got it new in 2012 and has since done with help of late teens in the family more than 100,000 KPH and so far no problems .
He recons he will reach the KIA 150,000 kilometer guarantee limit long before the 7 year warranty limit

They often do the surfing runs to the west when the surf is up.

Best buy he ever got he reckons for economy cheap motoring.

Have you got somebody to have look at the fault on your car?
If you like the car, getting it fixed will hardly be 11k.
