Hi I am in need of some advise,

In my parents house they have Glowworm 18sx, now according to the manual the flow temperature set-point can be set to 82 degrees but for some reason we can only set it to 75 degrees max. I have tried searching the online to see if I could find a similar issues but all my searches have come up dry.
Hopefully someone here will have experience with these boilers and hopefully explain what the issue is, If any?

    Thanks,

    Trev.

    There is no issue
Heating water to 82 degrees is an absolute waste of energy/money
    Even 75 is to hot
70 degrees is ample to heat a house

    Thanks for the quick response.
I understand that setting to 82 degrees might be extreme but maybe I should phrase the question in a different way.
Why can I not set it to 82 if the Manufacturer states in all its documentation that it can be done?
Is there some other issue causing the set-point to be lowered to 75 which may also affect some other operation of the boiler?

    Regards,

    T.

It would have to be checked for gas input (pressure and rating) as maybe undersized gas pipework or gas valve may require adjustment.
But again, wouldn't know for sure until these items were checked.
