E Machines Laptop bootup problem

    Hi guys

    Looking for a bit of techie advice...my laptop when switched is failing to boot up correctly.It starts to emit a noise similar to a medical flatline and on entering the log on screen continually advises me that my correct password is incorrect.When I try to reset same it advises me that I need to have a password reset disc.Upon using a usb 3.0 device I am unable to utilize same to reset the password?Hope somebody can make some sense of my ramblings...I tried removing the battery and pressing some of the function buttons on boot up but to no avail?
