I have being handed down a Nissan Tiida (yep), official wheel sizes taken from web are 185 65 R15 and 195 65 R15. It just has plastic trims at the moment.

Question is how far out can second hand alloys be e.g. i see nice Nissan Almera alloys are up for sale which look well and are stated as being 195 55 R16.

Would they fit with that much of a difference in figures? If so, would they also put out the speedo being 16 inch instead of 15?

    Thanks for assistance.

Use tyre convertor site it will tell you the difference http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-comparison/

it will probable be +1 or 2% difference but your speed odometer is already under reading buy larger amount, the over all effect will hardly noticeable

Almera wheels will fit no bother.
Idealky get some 205/55r16 tyres for it. These are very close in circumference to 195/55R15 (.4% in the difference)
Tyre stop are doing Michelin energy for €80 in that size.

Obviously if the tyres are good then lash them on for a while. If they're some brand you havent heard of then just replace them
