    a friend got there full irish license on 21st june 2014 do they need someone with full driving license cheers

    Are you asking if a person with a full drivers license needs to be accompanied by someone with a full license (presumably, for longer...) then the answer is no.

    (I guess my presumption of what you're asking is wrong though, can't really wrap my head around the question.)

    ya he passed the test on 21st june 2014 got it changed on 1st july 14 .so he needs no 1 with full license

    Nobody with a full licence needs to be accompanied, nothing regarding that has changed.

    No driver who has passed the driving test has ever needed a passenger to accompany them. Once you receive your full licence, you do not need accompaniment.

    Passing your test after Aug 1st 2014 you are required to display N plates. Nothing relating to having a qualified driver accompanying you.
