    Hey all,
I'm trying to find the name of some insects I remember from when I was small. They were really small and bright red (You could fit tens of them on a 5c coin) They were visible on bright stonework (There was a windowsill at my school (in Dublin) where they'd all scuttle around). I don't have any pictures, but they were super-small!

Used to have tons of these out my back garden, I think they might be a type of spider mite, though I could be wrong.

Edit: Actually I think it may be the clover mite

If squashed, they will leave a characteristic red stain.

    Sounds right :o

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
