Satellite Dish TV Connection Issues

    Hi,

    Wondering if there would be a simple(ish) fix for some TV connection issues. I replaced the existing LND with a new quad LNB and now have the set-up noted below;

    TV No.1-Connection from old Sky dish to Sky box (old type)-Working fine, no issues

    TV No.2-Connection from dish to set top box, (DID-4ife HD Terrestrial & Satellite Combo)-Can only get 9no channels (RTÉ One, RTÉ Two HD, TV3, TG4, RTÉ News Now, 3e, RTÉjr, RTÉ One + 1 and RTÉ Digital Aertel)

    TV No.3-Connection from dish to Soarview TV-Can only get 9no channels (RTÉ One, RTÉ Two HD, TV3, TG4, RTÉ News Now, 3e, RTÉjr, RTÉ One + 1 and RTÉ Digital Aertel)

    When trying to search through the box/TV, none of the satellites are showing any 'strength' therefore no channels are being located.

    Any help/info would be much appreciated or is it a case of better off calling a 'cable guy' out ?

    First thing I'd is check are the LNB outputs, test TV2 & TV3 connections on the known working LNB output no. 1 to rule out a problem with the other outputs.

    I presume you've connected the cables from the dish to the 'LNB-in' connectors on the 4life receiver & Saorview TV? Your '9no. channels' being Saorview.

    Thurston? - Yep, only one input connection on the TV and checked the 4life receiver......but will check again to make double sure.

    The Cush - Will do, I'll check TV2 & TV3 connections on the LNB 1 connection.

    If the TV actually has a satellite tuner, this will be separate to the terrestrial (Saorview) input. Saorview is not a satellite service.

    TV's satellite connection will use an f-connector like you used at the LNB.
