    Hi All,

It looks like with the latest build of Windows 10 (insider preview build 10074) that you can now upgrade your bargain tablet from Windows 8.1 with Bing without having to go through obscure processes wiping the machine and installing over USB with an OTG cable.

You can download the upgrade.exe from http://insider.windows.com and run through it from there or you can configure Windows Update to pick it up.

There are still a few rough edges, but it's still pre-release software so that's to be expected.

One thing I have noticed is that power management seems to be a hell of a lot better with the battery lasting longer than before on the Stream 7 with light usage (browse the odd web page, check e-mails, etc.)

We ran a short news story on it this morning, but more or less the above summary says it all.
