    Hi there

My brother is trying to install MS Office 2007 on a Fujitsu Windows 7 Professional Laptop.

He is getting the following error when extracting files Is there anyone that can tell me why this is happening.

CRC failed in Proofing.en-us/Proof.en/Proof.cab Unexpected end or archive.

No Its from a usb flash drive. It was installed on numerous laptops without problems.

Is it being installed under an administrator account?

I have no idea how its being installed but if its under the administrator account would this by why there is a problem with installing it.

No, it's just it should be installed under full admin privileges. It's also possible the install file on the USB key is corrupted.
