Went over for a look today , mainly professional equipment on show , not much for someone with a small plantation of there own, Teagasc seem to be getting more involved in forestry promotion , no department stand or coillte or coford either , very little about the end use of timber

Neither the Forest Service or Coillte had a stand, rather odd. Teagasc did. Even Bord na Mona did!

Weather was good, I enjoyed it. Fantastic setting - I think the event could be more ambitious but I'd still give it 7.5/10.

See you tomorrow, I'm the guy with the Doberman on a short leash :)

Fairly good crowds today, rather windy and dull and drizzly at times, but mild and not too bad really.

The van selling the hot dogs and chips had lovely stuff and did a good trade. I left the dog at home today!
