Hi I have a puncture on road bike tube - took off tube, pumped it - but could not see where punctured. Tried putting into dish of water, but still see nothing. It is a very slow puncture, and tube will stay pumped for 2 days before going flat. Any ideas of how to find puncture on the tube ? Thanks

Change the tube...keep cycling spend recovery time playing with punctured one

I had something similar and ended up pumping the tube up a lot more in order to make the hole larger for it to be detectable in the water.

The problem with doing that is that it can stretch the rubber too much so that when deflated again the tube becomes a bit longer making it more difficult to fit back into the tyre without overlapping.

    Dump the tube.

Bit of washing up liquid in the water helps to show up the air bubbles much easier.

Nip to Halfords, buy 3 tubes for a tenner. Dump that one and carry the other two as spares.
Or you could keep searching for the elusive hole!
    I know which I'd pick.
