    just a quick question if my hand was in a cast does it make my insurance void can't get through too insurance company and need car for work etc

    You would normally need to get a letter from your doctor to say you are fit to drive. If you have a manual car I would assume you would not be in any condition to drive safely.

    Need to inform your insurance usually,
    if it is a hard cast i don't think you are allowed to drive (when i broke my hand this was the case), not that you would be able to anyway!

    You cannot drive against a doctor's instructions. What did he/she tell you?
