Hi, Has anyone ever retrofitted Espagnolette or equivalent locks to old uPVC windows? I'm thinking of doing it in order to save money on a house renovation. Any thoughts or feedback welcomed. Thanks. D.

Has anyone ever retrofitted Espagnolette or equivalent locks to old uPVC windows?

I'm thinking of doing it in order to save money on a house renovation.

It can be done depending on the profile of the system that has been used to make the windows. There’s a company in Coolock that supplies aftermarket window and door accessories. Unfortunately they can’t be mentioned here but you can google them.

It's do-able, if the profile allows.
You may need to move the receivers on the sash as well.
