Hi, I'm selling something on ebay for the first time. When I created the listing I only created a postage policy for Ireland, UK and EU. People from outside of those areas are bidding. If one of them wins, do I have to send them an invoice since ebay won't know how much they need to pay for shipping? Thanks :)

you can edit the listing before it ends to add postage for those areas.

Thanks! It says "The postage policy can't be revised because this listing has restrictions on revisions."

Once theres a bid , you cannot edit the listing.
You may have to forego the difference in postage between EU and rest of the world .
It can't be that much .

Thanks! I'm willing to forego the difference. I've never done an auction before so I don't know how it works once the auction ends, but as I understand it ebay will invoice the buyer or charge them or whatever the final cost from the bidding + postage specified in my policy. But if they're in an area that's not included in my policy, do I have to manually invoice them?

It may depend on the category listing , but from my experience , Ebay will use the maximum postage in the description listing if the buyer is outside the areas covered .

    Unless eBay policy has changed

I think when seller is going to pay they will get the message that no postage specified, to contact seller.
