Lads I have a brand new set of projector lights for an e38 but haven't a clue what they are worth. I put an ad on donedeal but dunno if the price is too high or if no one wants them. Thanks.

Check what price new is and stick them on adverts.ie too so people can make offers.

I've looked online but they seem to be only available on eBay and mostly $250 and up as far as $400

all e38 had projectors in their headlights afaik. Or is it original xenon that you meant?
Light cluster would go for around 50-70e per side tbh, xenon ones would be much dearer.

Also depends whether they are pre or after facelift.

Only the xenons got projectors, halogens were reflectors.

They're aftermarket headlights in the OP, price would all be down to quality/brand.

I sold OEM xenon projector housings on eBay UK, 14 years old for €330.

Not true. I got an e38 (pre-facelift) last summer and them lights had projectors in it and were not xenon. My e36 convertible - same story, projectors in but no xenon.

my e38 came with reflectors, replaced them with oem xenons

OP those are either DEPO / Umnitza e38 projector lights, which were both halogen , but can accept a xenon retrofit , if they're depo they're probably worth 200-250 a set if new , if its the umnitza projector38 lights maybe a bit more. Are they for LHD or RHD cars ? makes a big difference.

OEM Xenons still command 550-600 notes and the chromeline ones a little bit more

Think they are LHD but not sure. I haven't got them here with me right now.

Must be a prefacelift thing, because the facelift halogens only came with reflectors.

Could be. I've no experience with facelift models. Also, there's actually a switch inside the lamps to switch between RHD and LHD.
