Few whiskeys later on when watching Game of Thrones.

The pub is over priced and over rated IMO.

Yep, I'm in a beer garden in Wicklow right now, typing on the phone, completely ignoring my husband and husband's best friend and husband's best friends wife.

Husband's best friends wife has just gone off to get the first round in. When she gets back I'm going to snap a picture of my large glass of red wine (the other three are all on beer) and whack it on Facebook with a caption like 'Havin gr8 tym w me darling and his mate and his mates missus. H8ers gon h8 beeatches!'

Then I'll dash into the loo so I'm not there when it's my round. What's everyone else doing?

Nursing a slight hangover and grappling between an early night and the nagging feeling that I should have a beer because technically it's Saturday #2.

Just spent the last hour rightifying the neighbour's ewes, they're a bastard for going on their backs at this time of year.

Not a bank holiday here tomorrow - Friday was. They don't move the holidays to the Monday here and have it on the actual date. Would rather a Monday than a Friday off. I'm sweating alcohol from the system right now so to bed early for work.

Enjoy your day off, you lot!!

Working tomorrow, had thoughts of going to the pub earlier... Glad I didn't now, steak and Netflix.. Happy days

I'm pretty sure there's something in the bible forbidding that kind of thing. :D

Just because they're on their backs isn't an invitation for you to slake your desires, backwardsman!

Just after a Chinese and have a couple of bottles of craft beer. That's the extent of my bank holiday entertainment in its entirety.

Last night in Buenos Aires but almost too hungover to do anything. Got up about an hour ago, which was nearly 4 here-time.

And for me, still sitting at home debating if I should head out or not., i know there will be horrific queues at the pubs, or a dull night at home.. I hate this

Yes I'm having a tipple, then I shall commence my journey into town, where I will grace the unwashed masses with my wonderful presence. If you seek me I shall be drinking out of a tophat with a cherry on top.

I'm not a big drinker, feeling the need to go out isn't really there any weekend for me let alone bank holidays so I'm content in sitting in tbh.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,070 ✭✭✭✭pq0n1ct4ve8zf5

One of my friends is on a visit back from the shtates, haven't seen him since last summer. My oldest friend is around for the weekend and I haven't seen her since she snuck off and got married without telling anyone. It might be a large one :D

Judging by your username, I'd have guessed you were only 15/16 anyway, no?

    Snooker on telly. Cans.

...and the snooker was an inspired call, particularly as I haven't watched the worlds in years and it's turned into a thriller. Just wish they kept going...

Haha unfortunately not, add another 10 years to that guess!. The 1999 refers to uniteds treble winning season.

Drinking until 4am last night at a wedding and started again at breakfast in the hotel this morning. Packed it in around 4pm and just relaxing now for the rest of the day.

I am having my fourth can of Bulmers-I am SUCH A REBEL.

Seriously though, I've found the older I'm getting the less booze I can handle, so tonight I feel like a teenager, surprising myself!

Eating some kind of rice cake thing and watching Rude Tube.

Then it's to bed with me to listen to some ASMR vids to help me nod off.
