    Hi :)
A few days ago , I heard that the next year leaving cert students(2016) can take Chinese as subject plus there's Chinese exam in the Leaving cert exams. Is it TRUE? I asked my guidance counsellor but she isn't sure . Is there anyone who knows anything that's related to this ?
    Thanks in advance

There'll be a "short course" as part of the new junior cert called Chinese Language and Culture. Almost certain there isn't going to be one at leaving cert level.

Haven't heard anything. If it's to be a curricular subject, schools would have had to have been informed a long time ago, so that 5th years starting the programme in 2014 would know about it. I can find no circular containing 'Chinese' in its text on the Department website.
