a bit unseasonal but just wondering are all Christmas trees that are sold in Ireland Irish.

I'm Irish products obsessed and the country is full of forestry there really should be 100% Irish!

    Thanks

Most of the Christmas trees grown around here are exported to mainland Europe, harvested and shipped in November every year

I grow christmas trees myself, but your right the majority are imported, reason being i suspect is they take that long to start growing most growers who want quick buck from them, lose patience with them, would you wait 10 odd years for a return, we plant about 1000 a year

Why are you so obsessed with all things Irish? You realise thats the kind of attitude that makes you fall foul of clever misleading advertising. The amount of products alluding to be Irish which are not is hysterical, all cashing in on this weirdo obsession of Irish people to "Buy Irish". These guys seen you coming a mile off.

Saw a sandwich in Tesco with "Irish Produce" written on it. Chicken was from Thailand.......
