Irish resident working up to 50 days overseas

    Part of my employment requires me to travel overseas for up to 50 days a year. Am I liable for a tax refund for the days I spend overseas?

    You should check out Foreign Earnings Deduction. If you are sent to a qualifying country the you make be entitled to a refund.

    It used to be minimum 180 days, and you could claim back for each day you were abroad. But I thought this is no longer the case.
