Migrated from IMAP to office 365 and sub folders not populating

I migrated from IMAP to office 365 last week, exported all my emails including sub folders and imported them into Outlook 2013. All of the emails appear to have imported at first glance as all the sub folders are listed but when I click into the sub folders there's nothing in them.

    I tried the following steps:

    1. Click File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
    2. Select an Exchange account, and then click Change.
    3. Under Offline Settings, unticked the check box and restarted outlook.

    No change.

    Anyone ever experience this before?

Yeah have come across that. The emails are there but there is a flag / filter set in such a way that you can't see them. Click on one of the "empty" imported folders, click on "view" in the menu, then click on "view settings", then click on "filter" and you'll probably figure out in there why the messages aren't showing. Remove any limitations that the filter might have, or clear the filter completely. A bit trickier to do this for all folders, I think you can copy the filter settings from the "fixed" folder and paste those settings onto other folders

Good luck and let us know!

    It worked!

Thanks, that makes a big difference but I have to do each sub folder manually.

    Thanks again.

    Glad it worked :)

There is a way to copy the folder settings of the fixed folder, but if you only have a few dozen folders or so it is probably as easy to do them manually
