    Im looking for a cheap tractor to use around the yard mainly for moving bales of silage in the winter any good value around must be reliable

    995 David brown, is a cheap cheerful and reliable tractor won't cost you much and will lift the round bale. if you are not mechanically confident bring somebody who is with you to look at them with you. Note that these tractors are old tractors. If you are looking for modern and cheap your budget will need to be a lot bigger, so your budget might be a good thing to declare. Sources would be the typical online free advert sites for Ireland like adverts.ie and donedeal.ie

    David Browns and zetors seem to be the best value for money.
    They could be bought for between 2k and 3k and upwards.
    an 8011/8111 zetor would be a lot more confortable at heavier work than the DB.
    Heading above 3k you are into the massey ferguson range, 165 and the likes . A very reliably machine
