Hi, Going into second year in september and need to sort out accommodation for next year. Stayed in Corrib this year but want to change next year. I know a few people in Menlo and they say it is nice place to live. I would be looking for either a single or a double ensuite as I shared this year and that's not gonna happen again :P Just wondering is it too late to apply for Menlo, has anyone stayed there?, anyone applied this late before? Any info is appreciated! :)

I stayed in Menlo in 1st year & applied as late as possible. I had a lot of trouble with accommodation and literally got the place 3 days before I moved in.
It's a nice area, quiet and cosy, not anywhere as big as Corrib or Gort. You get to know everyone in the complex really quickly!
I had a twin room ensuite. I can't remember the exact rooms in the houses but I think there's something like two twin room ensuites and a single/double ensuite downstairs.
Overall I wouldn't go back because I prefer not living in student accommadation & just having a house with my friends, but as a first year coming to a new city it was a nice ease into the whole situation.
