Got a good quote for renewal from AA along with membership and your one encouraged me to sign up for an AA fuelcard. Anyone here use this? Only works in Topaz I see and gives you a small discount, plus they bill you by direct debit. Convenient or?

Ya I use it, have had one for the last two years. 2 cents off every litre and they send you an e-statement with the date when they take money. Handy to have but I find that you don't save much because most of the other brand filling stations will be the lower price.

Just signed up as Topaz is handy close to me, but having asked in there about it the garage never heard of AA fuel card and I have to fill car up to find out if it works hahaha

But as above when out and about country have seen texaco/applegreen 2 or 3 cent cheaper, so may not be as good as saving for everybody.

I've had one for about two years now, find it very handy. As others have said it doesn't really save anything compared to other stations but the money doesn't come out of your bank account the day you top up, you get a bill 1 week before they take the money and the bills are usually every two weeks, so technically you could top up and pay 3 weeks later.

A little like using a credit card then, no?

Pretty much, but you pay less than the pump price and there's no interest
