Hi. I'm recently unemployed (Feb) and claiming social welfare, however, I have had some substitute SNA days and I am due some more in June. I am due to have a baby in September and I am wondering if I'll be able to claim state maternity, if I apply for it from June. I qualify with regards the PRSI contributions in the relevant tax year, I'm just wondering if I can claim when I'm only doing a little bit of subbing? Also do I get the school to fill out the form or does the Department of education do it? Thanks.
