I was wondering how you can transfer images and data from an old memory card to a new one. I tried copying to a folder on my hard drive and that didn't work. Is there any way to retain the images for the new card? I've an E1 Xperia. Thanks in advance.

You could get an SD card adaptor and put your memory card into it,connect it via USB to your pc.then just put the new SD card into your pc card slot and transfer your images directly over.

Does the new card, when it's in the adaptor in the card slot, have to be formatted? I don't think I can transfer from my phone as I'm working with Windows XP.

It's not working for me. I'll just use the new one and make do.

can you send them to dropbox by putting them in a phone and sending them that way?
