S5 apps disabled won't enable

OK do I woke up this morning and all my apps are missing from my screen. I go in to app manager and all but a few are showing the rest are showing as disabled. I've tried renabling the ones that have the option but when I press enable the phone gives the warning that if i disable the apps some apps might not function…

Its a galaxy s5, and the only thing I can relate it to is ultra power saving mode when it does the same.

Actually I just double checked and the apps that i still have are the same as the ones left active when ultra power saving modes active. It seems to be directly related to this.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
