    Dear BOI
My Credit Card expired and I was sent a new one, no problem. I just noticed a transaction went through that was set up on my previous card details, ie; an expired card date and ccv. Previously, these automatic transactions failed when a new card was Issued. Could you explain the change?

    Hi ekimiam,

Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie.

While your renewal card is active immediately, your previous card will still be valid until the last day of the expiry month.
If you do not recognise the recent transaction on your account, you can call our Customer Service team on 0818 251 251. Our representatives are available until 6pm this evening.

Alternatively, if you are registered for 365Online, you can send a secure message to query this via the Online Service Desk.

If we can assist with anything else here, please don't hesitate to post again.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
