Finnegan's Bray departs from Cleary's on O'Connell St at 1AM and 3AM on Friday and Saturday nights. Used to do a Bank Holiday Sunday service as well although I'm not sure if they still do.
    EDIT: They still do :D

Anyone who usually gets the Nitelink should consider this. Realistically, anyone getting the 7N usually to Monkstown, Dun Laoghaire, Sandycove, or Glenegeary can consider it as well as it's a relatively short walk / taxi journey from Foxrock church to any of these destinations.

€6 or €8 depending on how far you're going. More expensive than Nitelink but certainly better than feckin taxis :D

The Finnegans website is light on detail. I asked in another thread and I understand that they will stop virtually anywhere i.e. not at set locations such as the Nitelink which in the case of the 46N only picks up at Donnybrook Church and Stillorgan Park Hotel.

Night Bus from Dublin to Bray/Greystones/Charlesland/Kilcoole

Our Night Bus service runs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights every weekend (and on Sunday nights on Bank Holidays) ie 1am and 3am of the next morning.

The 1am bus goes to Bray and the 3am services Bray and onwards to Greystones, Charlesland and Kilcoole.

The route includes O'Connell Street (Clery's), Nassau Street (Trinity corner at end of Grafton Street), Kildare Street, Leeson Street, Burlington Hotel and out the N11. The route through Bray is Castle Street , Quinsboro Road, The Strand, Putland Road, Boghall Road, Kilbride Lane, Ardmore Studios, Killarney Lane and Southern Cross.

The 3am route then continues to Greystones Village, Charlesland, Kilcoole and return to Delgany.

Fare: €6 to Bray. €8 onwards.

last time I got the Finnegans bus to Greystones it was 5am before I got home having been on a grand tour of every estate in Bray en route. The 84N in contrast takes 45 mins to get to Greystones.
