Moving from being ITV in the Republic to being Channel 5 in the Republic? Who ever suspected that would happen?

    :D

Channel 5's original programming strategy was ' football and fu*king', a diet of uefa cup and softcore pornography. Hard to see where Vincent Browne will fit in. Suppose he will just have to take it like a man.

Remember TV3's original line up? Plenty of Channel 5 shows in that, including "Family Affairs".

The fact it will fill so much of their schedule must have been very appealing for TV3 (200 hours the article says).

I suppose there's the show every night for around an hour, which will probably get some repeats on 3e. Then there's another show, where they talk even more about the contestants, again prime for repeats.

I don't think Channel 5 do the live streaming like C4 used to do across E4 etc?

I think it was Billy Connolly who had a gag about the madness of people sitting on a couch watching people sitting on a couch! Little did he know that Gogglebox would come along too, to add insult to injury! :pac:
