Hi load Mircam and MCPA

Hi All

Anyone ever try these mixed together.

I see on the Hi Load Mircam label it says:

** Improved control can be achieved by adding 2.8 litres of Agritox 50 (PCS 90037) or other approved salt formulations of MCPA.

These two mixed should give a super kill on loads of weeds but has anyone tried it and was it successful?

One of the writers on the farmer's journal was advocating this mix a few months ago. Only time I saw it referenced.

Used this mix there two weeks ago. Seems to be working so far

Old thread but has anyone used this mix and what sort of results were achieved?

I have got some ground that was lying vacent for 5+ years and had a awful mat of weeds dead grass and rushes. I have cut and removed this and every weed under the sun is coming up. Plough is the answer i know but the fields need partial draining and i want this done b4 ploughing.

I was thinking that the hi load mircam / mcpa mix will sort alot of the weeds for this season and reseed later this year.

I think it should kill all them but only foliage in alot of cases.
