I need to transfer a near 4 figure sum from my personal 3rd level account to someone's business account. If I do this online would I incur any fees for doing this ?

    Thanks

    Hi SureYWouldntYa,

Thank you for contacting us here on Boards.ie.

We can confirm that there is no charge applied to domestic transfers from a 3rd Level Student account. You can find more detailed information on fees and charges here on our website.

Just to mention, as today is May Day and electronic transfers due to process today, will not be debited/credited until the 4th of May.

We hope this helps and if we can assist you with anything else, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Thanks,
    Elaine

I tried to add the account as a payee, but it just said it could not add the account, all the numbers are correct so would May day have anything to do with this ?

    Hi SureYWouldntYa,

May Day would not impact the addition of payee's on 365Online. If you need to check the IBAN and BIC details for the payee, you can use this calculator

If all these details are correct, please contact Bank of Ireland Direct on 0818 365 365 and a representative will be more than happy to look into this for you.

    Thanks again,

    Elaine
