    Hi,
I've been offered a full time job by UK based company (well established 30years+),the role enables me to stay in Ireland and work from home. My question as I will be the sole employee of this company in Ireland are there any downsides regarding Tax, PAYE or suchlike that I or the company need to be conscious of. i.e. I don't want to reach 67 and find I've a gap in my OAP contributions. Thanks

Get a really experienced tax consultant ASAP. This area is a minefield.

Just give them you tax details(Irish) and your allowance cert and they will handle it all assuming you are a paye worker and paid into Irish bank.

Have done it for years with both UK and NI companies, was hassle years ago where it had to go to UK tax and then back to Irish but thats long sorted.
