    Hi all,
    I have a date Saturday night and we're going to the dogs and then out in the city. Would I be too dressed up in a dress? I've only been to the dogs once but it was for a Christmas party so I don't really have a clue.
    All help/advice greatly appreciated

    If you're going to wear a dress to the dogs, go for a relaxed/casual look. You could wear a dress with a smart blazer and ankle boots.

    Another option would be to match a nice top with a pair of jeans and a blazer. For example, a pair of dark denim jeans, a white top and a navy blazer always looks well. I like to wear gold jewellery to complement navy. A nice handbag and shoes, and you're good to go.
