    hi,

trying to put a instant hot water tap in kitchen but cant locate the stop valve for the tap's hot and cold pipe feeds ..

ive located some valves and a lever ,turned them off one by one and checked flow after each but no joy, water still flowing, should the supply cut straight away or do i need to run tap for a bit? left it for 30 seconds on each valve but didnt affect flow ...

i have the myson compact cp53 pump ,does that control the feed to all my taps?

if so can i disable or turn it on and off via the power switch to stop my water flow?

never tried stuff like this and did try trace all lines but its like a maze, old house redone at some stage ..

    thanks for help

The myson is the pump that pushes the water around your heating system (circulating pump) and has nothing to do with the supply of hot and cold water to the taps.
The valve for the mains cold feed to the kitchen is usually under the kitchen sink, if not, then check under the stairs, at worse, the valve outside your gate will do.
If there is no isolation valve under the sink for the hot supply then you will usually find it in the hot press approx on the wall about 4 - 5 feet up from the floor.
Failing all of that, get the mains water off leave the taps to run and drain down the tanks completely.
