Looking at entering GLAS and this looks an attractive measure.

BUT contractor doesn't have the kit and has no intention of getting one in the near future as reckons no real farmer demand.

I thought this measure would be a no brainer to increase the amount of money lads could get from the scheme.

Is there any other contractor you could get?

Can't get my teagasc adviser over the phone this last few days as I wondering about my application.
That slurry option is one the things I've to sort.
Your contractor won't be long getting the kit when most lads get into the scheme

You have to spread all slurry this way if you put it down as an option.Got mine put put this year with band spreader on pipe system think will put it down as an option as will pay for slurry spreading basically getting dept to pay for my spreading of slurry.

Wouldn't recommend it for baled silage or shed that are hard agitate. Splash plate lot quicker so a lot cheaper....

Managed to source a contractor that is working the umbilical system and is kitting it out with a dribble bar for next year. Should be some job.

Low ground pressure. Constant pumping and less grass contamination. Also I hear bandspreading suposed to be better for mr. Earthworm as it's laying the slurry in strips and not coating abd smothering all the ground. As bob used to preach look after the soil.
