Does anybody know a decent courier / air freight company to ship from China? Getting ridiculous prices from dhl. Need to ship about 15kg box.
    Thanks

Ask the sender* to use a local courier firm. Then the cost would be the "Chinese" rate.

*assuming someone is sending stuff to you.

China Post will charge €80 to €100 euro for shipping that kind of weight. I forget exactly and exchange rates have changed for the worse. I hope that's of some use.

Freight services from the Far East are in high demand and the westbound rates are likely to always be more expensive than the eastbound rates.

Another important issue on cost is that many headline prices from couriers are for express service. You may find that you will be get a much better rate for a 7-day (it means the courier can manage the peaks and troughs of demand better) or 6-8 week service (it will go by ship instead of plane).
