Battery problem - iPhone 4S

    I've had an iPhone 4S for about 15 months and recently the battery has been playing up.

    For example, it can be at 45% and within a couple of minutes it will drop to 1% and go dead. When I plug the charger in, it immediately goes back to 45%.

    I'd appreciate any advice, thanks :)
