    I noticed it while cycling to Marley Park. I thought it looked great!

    looks like Prunus laurocerasus 'Otto Lukyen', with its upright leaves. seen a lot in industrial/ roadside plantings.

    It gets a bit out of control. If you like the look of it, Portuguese laurel is fairly similar but more compact and slower growing.
