Anyone give advice on an acceptable annual salary?
For both practise ( BOTH BIG 4 and NON BIG 4) or industry within Galway.
Qualified in the last 5 years(ACA)

I mean what would b the salary expectation of an audit senior in a big 4?an audit senior not in a big 4? An audit manager in a big 4? An audit manager not in a big 4?

I trained in one of the bigger non big four in Galway, they offered me 27.5k to stay on as a senior. I've friends that stayed on in smaller practices after training and the money was similiar. You'd be looking at the mid thirties for a top 10. I was offered 38k for an industry role. Entry level industry positions for qualified accountants with good companies are rare in Galway and are highly sought after. I was looking for about 18 months and all I got were interviews for some fairly dead end jobs. I've taken a job in Dublin with an MNC so hopefully once I've that on my CV for a year or two it should be easier to find something.

27.5k to stay on as a senior sounds awfully poor.

I would agree 27.5k as an audit senior is very low alright if qualified
