Humax giving trouble...

    I have a humax freesat HDR-1000S box with the latest firmware on it.

    I find it great over the past year but in the last couple of months it has to be unplugged every so often due to it not responding to remote presses (batteries in remote are good), some recordings failing and menus freezing.

    My neighbour has the same box and is having simular issues.

    Anyone else having intermittent issues like this and anyone come across any solutions?

    Happened to me a couple of times too. From looking at the Humax forums it seems to be a "known issue".

    I spotted that too... also got a generic reply from tech support with reset instructions but no good.
