Stuart turner pump not working

    Hello guys,

I have an 2 bed apartment rented out & I've just been informed that the showers are not working((ensuite & main bathroom) while the taps are working fine albeit the pressure is a little low in the bathrooms.

I'm aware Stuart turner pumps were used when the apartment was built a few years ago. I'm thinking that I'll need a new circuit board for the pump but I've been quoted a figure of 160 euro for labour, cost of board, etc. Is this reasonable? Does anyone have any experience of the above? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    Me bad. I'm sorry.
I'll get one of the Admins to move it for you again.
Seeing as we appear to be on a solo flight here- have you a preferred destination? (I always wanted to be able to say that!)

Foleypio- I'm having trouble trying to contact mods/cmods- unfortunately. Please bear with me.

Modern plant on the naas road sell them. I replaced mine about 2 years ago. €50 quid and about 45 mins or so to switch over. Would literally be a 5 min job if your pump is a bit more accessible than mine was.

CMod here... The oldest non-stickied post on the first page of this forum is from 2 days ago. This is a very active forum & also the correct forum for your query.

If you are in Dublin, I have someone who will fix this if it is just the circuit board, but will replace your pump with a refurb if the problem is more complex. I can't remember price he charges for a board, but it will be a good bit less than 160. PM me if needed.

As of Jan 1st 2015, Modern Plant only sell the printed circuit board for Stuart Turner pumps as part of a complete service kit and not as a separate component.
Individual Non- Genuine parts are available, but not through Modern Plant.

    To the O.P.
Stuart Turner pumps are very repairable making it possible to replace almost all of the main components on site.

They stopped supplying parts to anywhere in cork.

    Boards are 80 euro.
