I've lost some channels, they just come up black. Can anyone tell me if the frequencies have been changed? I do have a pretty cheap box and it's a real pain to tune so I don't really fancy having to re tune it but sure anyway these are the channels:

    CBS Reality
    CBS Reality +1
    Showcase
    Food network
    Food network +1
    Beach body
    BnanzaBnanza

Also 2 channels seem to have switched to different channels

CBS action is now a babestation
    Heat is now Irish TV

People really should get Freesat HD boxes, no retuning required ever. Every so often a retune is required on the generic boxes.

I use my box for FTA stuff all over Europe. If you are watching only UK stuff then absolutely its a no brainer but people were dazzled by cheap combo boxes.

Where do I even start to get my channels back? Ive never done this on a FTA box but only on the sky box. Thanks:o

EDIT: Box is Humax Foxsat HDR

That made me laugh :D...........I can see the look my mother gives my father because of the "new" channel that has just appeared.......she is calling him a pervert and he doesn't even have a clue as to what she is on about.

Dazzled, or people wanted Irish channels as well, in a single channel list?

It's not that often that channels change frequency, especially the mainstream ones. At worst, it's add a transponder, do a search and a channel re-organisation. It's a couple of minutes job on my Arivas and Edison combos.

Dazzled as in they saw cheap and bought cheap boxes off salesmen who haven't been seen since.

Not everybody bought knowing what exactly they were getting. How many would have known that they would need to retune every now and again? Granted it's not often that the main channels change but smaller channels more often.

If the channels are on the Freesat EPG, you shouldn't need to rescan a Freesat box if they change frequency.

dont think astra 19 is classed as freesat?

Only 1 poster in this thread has mentioned 19 east, in passing. Certainly the poster I quoted didn't, & the OP is nothing to do with 19 east.

Maybe these mysterious vendors sold them too cheap and went out of business, before getting back on their unicorns and returning to Tir na Nog.
